The Department of Interior and Local Government – Region 02 is an executive organization of the Philippine Government which provides general supervision to local governments under its jurisdiction. The DILG R02 promulgates policies, rules and regulations on Cagayan Valley Region’s local governments and the public’s order and safety. Other than promulgation and supervision, the Department of Interior and Local Government – Cagayan Valley Region aims to strengthen the capability of the Local Government Units (LGU) under its authority by actively participating with regards to their needs.
Project Objectives
The Quality Management Systems (QMS) Project Certification for the Department of Interior and Local Government – Region 02 aims to:
- Ensure the capability and consistency of the Department of Interior and Local Government – Region 02 in handling processes and information.
- To mitigate or correct process issues and seek opportunities in improving the services given by DILG – R02 to its subordinates.
- Adopt the standards from ISO 9001:2015 in order to enhance and promote public sector performance.
