The Environmental Management Bureau – Cagayan Valley Region is a division of the Department of Environment and Natural Resource which provides general supervision with regards to the protection of its jurisdiction’s environment. The EMB R2 formulates plans and programs that would contribute in prevention and control of pollution to the environment. Other than formulation and implementation of plans and programs, the Environmental Management Bureau – Cagayan Valley Regions aims to protect the environment by creating environmental quality standards that would provide regulation to its jurisdiction.
Project Objectives
The Quality Management Systems (QMS) Project Certification for the Environmental Management Bureau – Region 02 aims to:
- Ensure the capability and consistency of the Environmental Management Bureau – Region 02 with the formulation and implementation of its plan, programs and standards.
- To mitigate or correct process issues and seek opportunities in improving the services given by EMB R2 to its subordinates.
- Adopt the standards from ISO 9001:2015 in order to enhance the mandation of the bureau in environmental policies.
